An extremely lifelike sculpture study of a parrot, entitled the `Bachelor` made by Sculptured Arts as an compliment to 127 `Close friends`. The execution of this sculpture is perfect, with every feather detail visible. Our artists took inspiration from Heinrich Hahnel, (German sculptor 1823-1909), for both sculptures.  Hahnel worked at Dresden and was renowned for his idiosyncratic technique which allowed for super-realistic reproduction of animals fur and feathers in sculpture.
This Parrot is perched on an old knurled tree branch also alive with detail, this workmanship is of the highest order, a happy union of strength and delicacy obtained by the skill of the sculptor.
